Hi it’s me again…I’m living my very own e-nightmare. On Thanksgiving my domain name (Bitsy Bling Books) was hijacked and sold before I could intervene. Host network was compromised. I’m in the process of retrieving and moving Bitsy to a new URL home.

I’m #4 on the challenge linky. Would you pretty please admin. my ‘link’ so it goes to my new home address?

    New challenge page: http://bitsybling.blogspot.com/p/2011-reading-challenges.html

    NEW main website: http://bitsybling.blogspot.com

    BIG THANKS!

    Charlie

Thanks for letting me know! I can’t seem to alter links that are already in the list (irritating!) but I have posted an updated link for you after the first one, so hopefully people won’t get confused.

Sorry to hear about your domain name – that really is a nightmare!! Hope the move goes okay and I will update your address in my feed reader.

    Hi, dear Miss Moppet,

Thanks so much for including “The Darling Strumpet” in your 2010 challenge. I hope you’ll include “The September Queen” in your 2011 challenge. Jane Lane wasn’t a mistress in the way we usually think of them, but during her perilous odyssey with the young Charles II helping him escape after the Battle of Worcester, she was almost certainly his lover (and she very definitely is his lover in my book!).

Hadn’t realised that! Yes, I’ll certainly include The September Queen. I’m very impressed that you have two royal mistress novels coming out in one year!

I’m signing up for another three . Still have my review for my third for 2010 – The People’s Queen to do which I’d hoped to have done before today but too busy.

    Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you, Cat, and I’m delighted you’re coming back for another year!

I hope to reach The Official Mistress level this year! This is so beyond fascinating, I’ve always loved to read about ladies of the court. Thank you so much for this list, I’m printing it and using it as a reading guide. The word “awesome” is so overused, but I can’t think of a better word to describe you! Thanx again.

You’re very welcome, Holly! I love hosting the challenge and I’m delighted you are finding the list useful. Hope it helps you discover more wonderful books in 2011!
